COVID19 didn't block the project!
The developer companies have continued their activities opting for smart working mode , while the large companies, which conduct the demonstrators' activities within them, have suffered some slowdowns that have almost completely recovered.
In July 2019, the 1st level University Master HOMI 4.0 - Hierarchical Open Manufacturing for Industry 4.0 - ended.
This master was managed by the Polytechnic of Turin with the collaboration of the University of Turin.
In December 2019, a 6-month extension was obtained on the end of the project: the HOME adventure will therefore end on 14/12/2020.
There was on October 18, 2019 the plenary session of the HOME project at Elbi International Spa - Sala Montebianco. During this meeting the progress of each work package was shared and project partners decided to request a 6 month extension to the end of the project (from 06/14/2020 to 12/14/2020)

The first audit was successfully passed! It was held at Elbi International and coordinated by Dr. Emila Trento.
As reported in the report by Prof. Stefania Bruschi of Industrial Engineering Department University of Padua the active involvement of all project partners (both academic and industrial) and the commitment shown in the performance of every single task and in the coordination of the entire project were particularly appreciated.
Satisfied with this first goal we just have to move on!

On November 28, 2018, the plenary for updating the HOME project was held at Elbi International Spa - Sala Montebianco. At this meeting, the state of the art, the progress and the deliverable situation for each work package were shared. During the plenary session, all project partners were also informed of the entry of two Aosta Valley stakeholders who will actively participate in the experimentation and provide feedback on the project.

On June 27, 2018, the first plenary of the HOME project took place at Elbi International Spa in order to share the progress of individual WPs among the partners. The plenary was an opportunity to do team building and define the first results of research activities in more detail.

On May 30, 2018, the meeting of the HOME Project Management Committee took place at Elbi International Spa in order to define the detailed plans of all WPs with the WP leaders.

On the occasion of the project kickoff, after the institutional greetings given by the Piedmont Region, MESAP and Innovation HUB, the individual WP leaders were invited to present their Work Package and to illustrate the objectives.
During the meeting, the 1st level HOMI 4.0 University Masters - Hierarchical Open Manufacturing for Industry 4.0, managed by the Turin Polytechnic in collaboration with the University of Turin, was also presented.
